Destination Dining

Sushi Samba is not quite your new Michelin-starred kid on the block.

Returning from New York, Dr Chan thought it would make a fun venue to have one last dinner as a family.

I concur fully.

Serving fusion food (Japanese-Brazilian-Peruvian), there was something on the menu we each could enjoy.  Perched at the top of the Heron Building with high-speed glass elevators zipping you up, up, up to the 38th floor, the restaurant offered panoramic views of London in all her glory.

The decor is supposedly elegant with dramatic foliage.  But the evening was cold, the light grey, and I was too busy basking in my family’s company to pay much attention.

Sincere apologies for the lack of pictures!

Guess I’ll just have to plan another meal there again!
